The background
The beneficiaries of the project are mainly youth workers and disadvantaged youth who shared their experiences and good practices, applied innovative methods of non-formal education, centered on art and ICT, and got actively involved in the struggle of local communities against this humanitarian and social problem.
The objective
- To fight against the radicalization of young people
- To raise awareness concerning its reasons and consequences on them through art as a precious tool to promote and defend human rights.
The activities
- Workshops in the SCOUT Beni Khiar, the Red Crescent Beni Khiar, the Rural Club Diar Ben Salem and the youth center Maamoura,animated by the young leaders.
- Film-debates + theatrical plays using the technique of shadow theater.
- Plastic art workshops during which the participants created paintings that reflect the phenomenon of violence, radicalization and extremism.
